Dr. Stephanie Copeland
DDSDr. Copeland is a native of Union, Missouri, which is just west of St. Louis. He completed his bachelor degrees in biology and psychology at the University of Missouri in Columbia. He then attended the University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Dentistry where he graduated with honors in endodontics and several humanitarian and leadership awards. Following dental school, Dr. Copeland completed a hospital based dental residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. This residency gave Dr. Copeland advanced experience in prosthodontics, implant dentistry, special needs dentistry and management of trauma. After completing his education, Dr. Copeland and his wife Stephanie, who is also a dentist returned to St. Louis. Dr. Copeland and his wife, live in Wildwood with their two daughters and a son. Dr. Copeland enjoys providing care to under-served populations through local and international dental missions, fishing in his spare time, and St. Louis sports, especially Cardinal baseball. In 2010, Dr. Copeland received a certificate of recognition from the American Dental Association for service in Guatemala and Zambia. Dr. Copeland lectures to other dentists on multiple implant systems. He was inducted as a Fellow into the Pierre Fauchard Academy in 2010, Academy of General Dentistry in 2016, International College of Dentists in 2016 and the American College of Dentists in 2018. Less than 1% of dentists internationally have received all of these honors. In 2018, the American Dental Association named Dr. Copeland one of “The Top 10 Under 10” recognizing the top 10 dentists in the United States that have been out of dental school for ten years or less. |
